I was in Bangalore the last two weekends and learnt that lots of ex-Trilogians are starting up:
Sarveshwar, Deepak and co.: Travel related
Vinay Gupta, Amit Agarwal, Harsh Azad and co.: Travel related
Pranav and Anand: Services (Starting with Trilogy outsourcing)
TN Satish: Services (Starting with Trilogy outsourcing)
Karan Nahata and others: Services.
Amit Arora and Soumen Basu: Services.
For a short while I felt that I am missing this excitement because I am in Hyderabad and can't be involved in general startup conversations and the initial brain storming sessions. But it is not a now or never situation and I am confident of going the start up way again some time in the next five years.
The old lady is also interested in doing something on her own but she feels she isn't ready yet and may need a couple of years time. I'd be glad to support her and will be happy to take care of household chores so that she can concentrate on her venture.
A while ago I invested a little in CarWale, Ion Capital Services and India Equity Fund managed by Roshan. CarWale and Roshan's Fund are doing well.
CarWale is getting popular and is becoming the defacto car information site for the Indian Car Buyer. Do check out Carwale
Roshan is smart guy, he is doing a decent job managing the fund and one could consider investing with him. I do.
Ion Capital: I think their fundamental premise is flawed and it wouldn't work.

Hi RK,
You seem to be so facinated to have your own company..that I can make out of your blog write up..and I know that you are going to make it on the top....but I want to know what exactly went wrong with your startup.......
I was thinking of the same thing a few days back - people are starting up/joining startups like never before. Sometimes I feel the same way - left out of this excitement too.
Hey RK,
I was searching for something else while I stubbled on your blog.
Been a long time. I believe that your numbers have changed. Call me sometime at +91-98801 94233; or drop in a mail at h.singhal@gmail.com
